Bride and groom finish their wedding ceremony by ordering 300 McDonald’s cheeseburgers

  • Wedding reception receives a huge delivery of 300 McDonald’s cheeseburgers
  • Video shows guests exploding into cheers as eight platters of the burgers arrive
  • The wedding planner said the cheeseburgers were planned a month in advance
  • The newlyweds love McDonald’s so much they had it straight after the ceremony

Nothing says ‘I love you’ like 300 McDonald’s cheeseburgers – and a pair of burger-loving newlyweds capped off the happiest day of their life when they had stacks of the fast-food delivered straight to their reception.

A video shows the moment a line of waiters carried several hundred McDonald’s burgers onto the dance floor of a wedding reception at Miramare Gardens, in Sydney’s Northern Beaches, on Sunday night.

The burgers, spread out over eight platters, are received with rapturous cheers and applause from wedding guests, who proceed to toss them in the air and pose with them for photographs.

One particularly joyful scene shows the bride chomping down on a cheeseburger as she dances with a circle of girlfriends.

Miramare’s event planner for the big day, Dianna Loproto, told Daily Mail Australia that the cheeseburger feast was prearranged a full month out from the wedding.

‘The bride and groom just love McDonald’s,’ she said. ‘And they wanted to know if having cheeseburgers at the reception was possible.

‘So we organised for them to have burgers after a six-course meal.’

Staff at Miramare even took the company van to go and pick up the 300 cheeseburgers themselves – a whopping bulk buy that reportedly ‘had Maccas at a complete standstill.’

But Ms Loproto says they were happy to make the tall order for the passionate newlyweds.

‘They’re such a lovely, down to earth couple,’ she said. ‘And they just love McDonald’s.

‘They even went and had it between the ceremony and the reception.’
