Happily ever after? Bride and Prejudice begins casting for its third season as producers search for more couples with disapproving families

Bride and Prejudice’s revamped second season has been a ratings winner for Channel Seven.

And with a third season confirmed, producers are now on the hunt for even more couples with disapproving families.

An advert published on MyCastingNet reads: ‘Have you met the love of your life but your family isn’t so sure?’

The casting call continued: ‘We’re looking for couples who believe they are destined to be together, despite what anyone thinks.’

Would-be participants must be ‘willing to travel’ and fill out a 10-minute questionnaire.

Questions include: ‘Are you engaged?’, ‘Tell us about the proposal?’ and ‘Are either of your parents not supportive of the relationship?’

The major storyline on this year’s season of Bride and Prejudice involves young couple Jess Jones and Seyat Abazovski.

Seyat’s Macedonian mother Fatima broke down in tears upon learning of her son’s engagement.

She then branded her future daughter-in-law a ‘slut’ and a ‘whore’, before offering her $10,000 to end the relationship.
