Jose Mourinho’s men come into the clash outside of the top four – and their title aspirations appear all but over due to indifferent form in recent weeks.
A win for Spurs will, however, keep them in contention to clinch Champions League football at the end of the season.
Brighton, meanwhile, are hovering just above the relegation zone and are in desperate need of points to avoid dropping below the dotted line.
