BREAKING NEWS: Brisbane confirm Chris Fagan will return to the club TOMORROW after coach was temporarily stood down over Hawthorn racism probe
Chris Fagan will return to Brisbane tomorrow after he temporarily stood down amid an investigation into allegations made against him and Alastair Clarkson during their time at Hawthorn.
The Lions confirmed that Fagan ‘will resume head coaching duties from Wednesday, October 26, 2022’ after the release of the Terms of Reference for the AFL’s probe into claims surrounding inappropriate conduct at the Hawks.
‘The Board will provide Chris with any future leave required to allow him to participate in the investigation,’ the statement ended.
A planned end date for the probe has been set for December 2022 with the AFL investigating claims that First Nations players and their families were poorly treated by Clarkson and Fagan. Both men deny the allegations made against them.
