Bristol City 1-2 Wolves: Vitor Pereira’s side thwarted an attempted Bristol City comeback to progress in the FA Cup.

Fresh off an uptick in form since Pereira took the reigns last month, Wolves travelled to Ashton Gate looking to secure a place in the FA Cup fourth round.

After a strong start the visitors took the lead courtesy of a goal from Rayan Ait-Nouri after just 10 minutes.

Wolves continued to press their advantage early on, and Rodrigo Gomes subsequently made it 2-0.

Scott Twine gave the hosts a hope of getting back in the game when he pulled one back from a free-kick on the brink of half time.
