Former Arsenal striker Benik Afobe’s two-year old daughter Amora has tragically died following a severe infection.
A statement confirmed that Amora ‘suffered a number of serious complications and despite doctors doing absolutely everything that they possibly could, she passed away peacefully with the love of her family by her side.’
It continued: ‘The entire family have been left totally devastated and heartbroken’.

Amora, who was Afobe’s first child, passed away on Friday evening with her family by her side.
Afobe, who is currently on loan at Bristol City from Stoke City, is currently out injured for the remainder of the season after suffering an ACL injury.
Afobe holds the Championship trophy with Wolves in 2018 alongside Amora
The 26-year-old came through the youth system at Arsenal but did not make a competitive appearance, going out on loan to six different clubs before Wolves signed him permanently in 2015.
He then joined Bournemouth in 2016, before returning to Wolves two years later as Nuno Espirito Santo’s side were promoted to the Premier League.
He then moved onto Stoke, and joined the Robins on loan in August.
