24 hours ahead of the BRIT Awards 2021, Maya Jama was like a kid at Christmas as she giddily posted to Instagram from her dressing room at The O2.
And hours later she was still buzzing, seen being transported around ahead of the event running errands.
The presenter, 26, will be co-hosting the backstage show for ITV2 on Tuesday night and was in rehearsals on Monday at the London venue, giving fans a glimpse of one of her outfits.

At Tuesday lunchtime, admitting she’s had no sleep, the beauty was seen refreshing her visage in the back of a cab, with a 111Skin Celestial Black Diamond facemask on to refresh her skin.
‘No sleep – no problem!’ she declared, before being dropped off at swanky jewelers Bulgari to collect her diamonds for the evening.
She made a brief stop off at a petrol station en route – doubling her beauty mask up with a Covid surgical mask – before heading across London the venue.
The evening before she was seen posing in her vanity mirror after rehearsals. Maya pouted in a floral figure-hugging mini-dress, her raven locks piled up on her head in curls.

Maya also teased the sign on her dressing room door – ensuring everything was Covid protected.

Maya joins Clara Amfo as the backstage hosts for this year’s BRIT Awards.
The presenter and DJ, 36, are teaming up to present all the behind-the-scenes goings on, broadcast on ITV2 and ITV Hub when the awards ceremony kicks off at 7pm.
Both broadcasters are part of the BRITs’ family, as Clara has hosted the BRITs Red Carpet show for the last four years, while Maya hosted the BRITs’ Facebook live stream from the red carpet in 2017.

The main show is once again being hosted by Jack Whitehall.
He said: ‘Back in a room with music and songs. We’re putting on a show with key workers in the audience, people who most deserve a night to let their hair down. It will be very special – we will have heroes in the room.’
Revealing how he plans to psych himself up for the show, he joked: ‘Yes it’s back on the Hollywood diet for me in the run up to The BRITs, having let myself go during lockdown..’

The show is set to award Taylor Swift – who will make history as the first ever female to be given BRITs Global Icon Award at the ceremony on Tuesday.
The 11-time Grammy Award winner, 31, will join former winners Elton John, Robbie Williams and David Bowie in being given with the award in recognition of her impact on music across the world and incredible repertoire and achievements to date.
In numbers provided by Official Charts Company, Taylor is the UK’s biggest selling artist of the year to date in 2021 and has sold over 114m albums worldwide with total global audio + video streams reaching 78b.

Nominations were unveiled in March, with Celeste, Dua Lipa, Joel Corry and Young T & Bugsey joining Arlo Parks in receiving three nominations each, and Jessie Ware, J Hus, Bicep, AJ Tracey up for two awards as with Headie One.
Confirmed to perform on the show are: Arlo Parks, Coldplay, Dua Lipa, Griff – this year’s Rising Star award winner – Headie One, Olivia Rodrigo, and Rag’n’Bone Man & P!nk with the Lewisham and Greenwich NHS Trust Choir.
