The UK’s biggest breakfast challenge swallows up your calorie count in one sitting – with the meal weighing a beastly one stone and a contestant says ‘it will terrify you’.

Named the ‘Terminator III’, the fry-up has 15 portions of everything served in a full English – including sausages, black pudding, bacon and hash browns, with a grand total of 135 items. The beastly plate consists of 130,000 calories and overrules the recommended 2,500 daily allowance for men and 2,000 for women.

The challenge at Shepherd’s Place Farm, Nottingham, has only been beaten once and is open to anyone – with the promise of free breakfast for a year if they complete it.

William Lailey, 29, tried his luck at the 135-item biggest breakfast challenge at The Shepherd’s Farm Place, Nottingham, but unfortunately was ‘bullied by that breakfast and I’m not afraid to admit’

One contestant, William Lailey, 29, from Reading, attempted the mammoth meal but failed to even get through a third of it.

He said he was ‘immediately intimidated by the size’ but thought the breakfast’s meager £20 price-tag was ‘worth a shot’ for the yearly supply of breakast and a place on their wall of fame.

‘Just looking at it was enough for me, I tried to be tactical about it but there’s no tactics involved, it’s just a case of how fast can you shove it in your mouth multiplied by how fast you can do it’, he told Caters.

'I wasn’t even close, it was a pathetic attempt': Mr Lailey says he was defeated by the black-pudding and this stopped him from completing the breakfast - which would have given him a place on the wall of fame and year's supply of breakfast

‘It’s totally unforgiving, the most formidable meal I have ever had the misfortune of poking my fork into.’

The black pudding ‘finished’ the reporter off and he could not manage another mouthful – admitting he ‘can’t express how much the look of this breakfast will terrify you’. Mr Lailey said he will never be able to look at fried food again.

‘I like to say I got halfway in but after looking at the pictures, I wasn’t even close, it was a pathetic attempt.

‘It’s a clever reward, because if you do manage to finish this breakfast, you’ll never want a fried meal again – I was bullied by that breakfast and I’m not afraid to admit.’

He egged people on to the challenge if they are the type to ‘challenge’ themselves and are ‘happy to risk a severe case of indigestion’.

But it is the ‘perfect sharer’ for ten people, Mr Lailey insisted to people feeling intimidated by the monster brunch.
