‘I didn’t know what his intentions were and when I looked over to my left he was running over so fast that I pushed my stuff away from the desk and spun my chair around.

‘I was literally ready to take off because I didn’t have a clue what he was doing.’

The mother-of-one went on to say that it was a ‘joke gone too far’ as everyone is ‘sensitive’ and ‘on edge’ at the minute.

On Tuesday’s episode, a stage invader appeared to run from the audience after a performance by illusionists Magus Utopia.

The man ran along the front of the judges’ table and pressed three out of four red buzzers.

During the stage invasion, Amanda and Alesha both shot up out of their chairs as they could be heard screaming.

While head judge, Simon Cowell, was left very unimpressed about the blunder as he put his head in his hands, he added: ‘Oh great. This is one of those nights!’

The stage invader inside London’s Hammersmith Apollo has since been identified as Perry Rose who calls himself a ‘public wind-up merchant’.

Unfortunately, security were not alerted to the fact that the audience member was a professional prankster who should not have been able to interrupt a live family TV show.

Speaking about what happened, Simon said: ‘It’s been one of the nuttiest nights of my life. We’ve had zombies. We’ve had magicians. We’ve had people pressing our buzzers.’

Eagle-eyed fans noticed the music mogul vent his frustration by giving the invader a two finger salute before putting his head in his hands in despair.

Ironically, it came mere minutes after Magus made the judges jump up from their seats in fright when he mysteriously appeared behind them at the end of his illusion act.

In the midst of confusion, some believed it was part of the act but quickly found it wasn’t after Amanda exclaimed she ‘needed a gin’ while holding her hand to her chest.

Viewers were left shocked by the incident as they flooded to Twitter to comment on what happened, with some describing the music mogul’s reaction as the highlight of the show.
