Britain’s Got Talent FIRST LOOK: Simon SWEARS at David during hilarious James Bond-style opener

Britain’s Got Talent returns for its second episode of auditions on Saturday night, with another 10 acts hoping to impress the judges.

And pulling out all the stops for the new series, Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden took part in a James Bond-style opener to kick off the show.

In a first look at Saturday’s show, the opening skit takes a hilarious turn as David greets Simon with a Union Jack car-boat causing the music mogul to swear, while the comedian later makes a remark about his recent weight loss.

Licence to thrill: Pulling out all the stops for the new BGT series, Simon Cowell, David Walliams, Alesha Dixon and Amanda Holden took part in a James Bond-style opener to kick off the show

The opener started off with Ant and Dec living the high-life as they travelled to the auditions ‘in style’ via a luxury speedboat.

The Geordie duo, both 44, lapped up the deluxe mode of transport, with Dec remarking: ‘I feel like we’re in a Bond film’, while Ant quipped: ‘Bagsy being James Bond!’

Dec then lamented which role he’d play, with Ant then remarking that his pal looks good in a bikini.

The scene then cut a glam looking Alesha, 41, and Amanda, 49, looking seriously impressed as they climbed into a fancy sports car to make their way to the show.

Clearly happy with her ride, Alesha remarked: ‘Not too shabby for us ladies!’ with Amanda nodding in agreement.

The former Mis-Teeq singer then asked: ‘I wonder what the boys are rocking up to work in’, with the scene then dutifully cutting to close-ups of David, 48, adjusting his crisp white suit.

With the Little Britain star dressed to the nines in typical Bond style, it could’ve been assumed that he too would be picking up his pal Simon, 60, in a luxurious mode of transport.

However it wasn’t meant to be as Simon was to find out as he was soon greeted to the sight of David driving up in a Union Jack car-boat with a bright yellow trim.

Clearly cheesed off about his lack of lavish transport, Simon was heard swearing loudly (though beeped out), before asking ‘are you serious?’

As Simon made his way into the amphibious vehicle, David said: ‘I know what you’re thinking’, to which Simon interjected: ‘You really don’t know what I’m thinking!’

The pair then set off for the auditions, with David asking his fellow judge: ‘Do you think I’d make a good James Bond?’

To which Simon sarcastically replied: ‘Outstanding’.

Never one to hold his tongue, David then remarked on Simon’s recent 20lb weight loss, telling him: ‘You’re looking well…keeping the weight off aren’t you!’

Simon then sharply turned to David, but the scene moved on before his response was heard.

However, Simon’s mood then improved as David then took a shortcut to the theatre and drove into the river, with Simon remarking: ‘This is fantastic!’

As Alesha and Amanda arrived at the auditions in a stylish fashion, the scene then cut to Simon and David, who were swiftly over taken by an amused Ant and Dec in their speedboat.

Using a megaphone, Dec asked: ‘How long is it going to take you to get to the theatre?’

With David replying: ‘Probably about seven or eight hours, but we’ll be there eventually!’

The presenting pair then zoomed off leaving Simon and David in their wake, with Simon moaning: ‘I was sort of OK with this until those two turned up.’

Saturday’s show looks set to be a thrilling one, with magician leaving Amanda in shock as he ropes Simon into taking part in an explosive trick.

Meanwhile, Frontline nurse Beth Porch, 25, looks set to wow the judges with her original song You Taught Me What Love Is, written about saving lives – before she tested positive for coronavirus.
