Britain’s Got Talent act The Brotherhood have withdrawn from this year’s semi-finals for health and safety reasons.
The group of magicians, who were due to perform their nail-biting stunts on Friday’s edition of the live shows, took to Instagram to reveal they’re ‘truly gutted’ over their shock departure.
On their exit, a BGT spokesperson told MailOnline: ‘The Brotherhood have had to withdraw from the Britain’s Got Talent Live Semi-Finals. Libby and Charlie will now be performing on Friday nights show.’

A TV source added: ‘The health and safety of all the performers is a huge priority to the show and producers will only allow acts to take part who they are certain are adequately prepared.’
Taking to their social media platform, the group of three friends shared a snap of themselves dressed in their signature clown masks alongside an emotional message which detailed their departure.
The caption read: ‘We’ve learned to stay humble in the good times and humble in defeat. We’ve worked for the last 4 months on an act so ambitious and out there that we’ve put our sanity, blood, sweat, fire and tears on the line.
‘Through circumstance and bad luck out of our hands sadly we aren’t in a position where we can deliver what we set out to do. It kills me that we’ve failed and that we will no longer be in 2019’s @bgt competition.’

Replacement: Dance act Libby and Charlie, both 11, will now be performing in place of The Brotherhood
Insisting they’re ‘truly gutted that we won’t get to be in the fight’, the group added: ‘We aimed for the stars and fell short. It’s been an absolutely incredible ride for BGT this year and I wish all the acts still In the competition the best of luck and success and that a magic act can bring home the crown again.
They went on to encourage their fans: ‘If we’ve taken anything from this, it’s that collectively YOU can achieve great things, no matter what’s in front of you. No matter what is happening in the world, the power of friendship and dreaming big is a powerful thing.

Earlier this month, the group’s first audition wowed judges Simon Cowell, 59, Amanda Holden, 48, David Walliams, 47, and Alesha Dixon, 40, as their death-defying game of mystery saw the fearless act put their lives in the hands of Simon and Declan Donnelly, 43.
The group have missed out on competing against Colin Thackery, Kojo Anim, 4MG, Siobhan Phillips, Flakefleet Primary School choir and Dave and Finn in Sunday’s grand finale.
The finalists are hoping to impress the judges and the voting public in order to win a massive £250,000 and a spot to take the stage at the Royal Variety Performance.
Britain’s Got Talent fans will witness eight contestants take to the stage each night during the live semi-finals.
Following the acts performing the public will then be able to vote for their favourite. Only two acts will be able to make it through each night to Sunday’s Britain’s Got Talent grand final on June 2.
