A British skier has revealed how she was raped in the French Alps after being abducted by three men before being dumped at the roadside in the snow.

Law graduate Hannah Power, 26, became lost while trying to head back to a friend’s chalet after a night out at a club in Morzine, France.

Three men in a car pulled over and said they knew her friend and that they would give her a ride back to where she needed to go.

But instead of taking her home, the men took her to a secluded spot, where the driver raped her.

She told The Mirror: ‘I think all three were planning to do it. The driver turned around and raped me on the back seat. I was fighting and kicking him.

‘There was this voice in my head that said everything was going to be okay, keep fighting.

‘It would have been heavily unpleasant for him, how much I was kicking and punching.

‘I think they decided, ‘This isn’t as easy as we thought… let’s get rid of her’.’

The 26-year-old had left the club and became lost while trying to get to her friend’s chalet.

She was walking for around 40 minutes when she was approached by the three men and accepted a life, but soon realised something was wrong and ‘started to scream and beg, ‘Let me out.’

After the attack she was driven back to town and the attackers took her phone before throwing her out of the car.

Hannah was taken to hospital but said police showed a lack of understanding about her case, and it was dropped only four months after the attack in March 2016.

The 26-year-old from Fareham, Surrey, who suffered from PTSD after the attack, has bravely waived her anonymity and vowed to help others.

This includes using her skills as a brand specialist to launch a jewelery range, that includes a Karma necklace – with £30 from each sale will go to the Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre.

In a video she recorded to share her experiences, Hannah said: ‘I feel a sense of duty now to share my story and to be a voice for people who aren’t yet ready to talk about it themselves.’
