At one point during the footage one of the tourists is even thrown to the ground by another member of the group after wrestling with him.

The man, wearing shorts and a shirt, rolled around in broken glass on the floor, before jumping back up and headed back towards the scrum.

An older couple can be seen sneaking past, trying to keep away from the fight, as more punches were landed.

Bar workers were trying to separate the men in the Thai resort of Hua Hun.

The women can be heard shouting: ‘Please stop’ but their pleas are ignored, as others run into the bars for their own safety.

The man, who filmed the fight told the Mirror: ‘The British are well known here.’
