- Alleged assault happened in the early hours this morning at disco in Seville
A British woman is being assisted by police after reportedly being sexually assaulted in a toilet at a nightclub in Spain.
The woman told cops she was targeted in the early hours of this morning at the unnamed disco in the southern city of Seville after being followed by a ‘foreign’ man.
Local reports said she was with two female friends who got talking to a group of five men in the nightspot who included the alleged sex attacker.
She was taken to Seville’s Virgin Macarena Hospital for a routine examination after alerting staff who raised the alarm.
The woman, whose age has not been made public, is said to have been in a ‘state of shock’ when she was taken to hospital.

The five men police are understood to be trying to track down have all been described as foreign.
Police have yet to make any comment and offer any information on their nationalities.
An ongoing investigation has been launched by a court in Seville.
Although the nightspot has not been identified, it is believed to be in a central neighbourhood of Seville called Encarnacion.
Years ago it was a run-down part of the city but is now described as one of its most trendy areas.
Its transformation has been linked to a large wooden structure called Metropol Parasol in Encarnacion Square in Seville’s old quarter which accommodates a traditional market and restaurants as well as a ‘rooftop’ terrace with a panoramic view.
Metropol Parasol is better-known by locals as the Mushrooms of Seville and since their opening in 2011, the parasols have become Seville’s third-most visited urban landmark.
