In honor of throwback Thursday, Grammy winner Britney Spears shared five stills from a video of herself dancing to her 2003 song The Hook Up that she uploaded last Sunday.
The 41-year-old semi-retired pop star showcased her impressive 5ft4in figure in nothing more than a pair of brown pumps and a gold-fringed embellished corset mini-dress, which looked more like a costume than ordinary attire.
Rather than sold-out stadiums, Britney now only dances in the safe confines of her Calabasas mansion or strips down on Hawaiian beaches for the viewing pleasure of her captive, combined 157.3M social media followers.
And in the last two Videoshop-created posts, Spears – who takes Prozac for depression – made sure to include a red rose emoji in the corner of the screen.
Since the dawn of the COVID-19 pandemic, the Mississippi-born singer has continued to share imagery of her favorite flower as part of a ‘personal photo project’ dubbed ‘Project Rose’ inspired by ‘Beyoncé and Sex and the City’s Carrie Bradshaw.’

One can only imagine what Britney will write about her estranged family members, her 13-year conservatorship which ended in 2021, how it affected her mind/career, and fighting for custody of her two teenage sons.
On the plus side, Spears – who just sold her $11.8M Calabasas mansion for $10.1M – seems to be enjoying marriage to her Slumber Party video hunk Sam Asghari as they’ll celebrate one year of wedded bliss on June 9.
