Sam, who appeared on the US show to talk about his new film Hot Seat, flashed his gold ring, joking: ‘I have to wear this thing now.’

‘It’s nice, it’s a good rock. It’s heavy so I’m getting a work out with it.’

‘It’s just been surreal,’ he added of being married. ‘It’s been a minute, it was way overdue for us. We imagined this thing being a fairytale and it was.’

The couple, who met on the set of the singer’s 2016 music video for Slumber Party, tied the knot on June 9 at Britney’s  home in Thousand Oaks, California.  Sam proposed in September 2021 after five years together.

While the couple had their dream day, there was drama at the wedding after Britney’s ex husband Jason Alexander attempted to crash the nuptials.

On Monday it was alleged that Jason attempted to enter Britney’s bedroom while she was in it.

A former security guard for Britney, 40, testified during a preliminary hearing for Jason on Monday that Jason attempted to open her bedroom door, however it was locked, reports TMZ. Britney was inside the room at the time.

The guard, who was fired as a result of the crashing, claimed Alexander repeatedly said he needed to speak with Britney and was searching for her, despite not being on the guest list.

Britney’s former guard claimed Jason headed directly to the pop star’s bedroom after sneaking onto her property and entering the main house.

The guard also said Jason had been seen numerous times leading up to the nuptials on the outskirts of her property.

He alleged Jason had also been seen the day before the wedding, even though he had been told to stay away from the property.

A detective with the Ventura County Sheriff also served as a witness and testified that Britney had called Alexander ‘scary’ during a conversation with her longtime agent Cade Hudson.

Jason pleaded not guilty to four charges when he was arraigned at a court in Ventura, California earlier this month, accused of trying to gatecrash the pop idol’s wedding last week while armed with a knife.

Dressed in blue prison overalls over an orange undershirt, Alexander, who livestreamed his efforts to crash the wedding, denied one count of felony stalking, one of battery, one of vandalism and one of trespassing and refusing to leave Spears’ $7.4 million Thousand Oaks estate where she married longtime fiance Sam Asghari that day.

Despite his intrusion, the wedding went off without a hitch. But the following day, June 10, the newlyweds were granted a temporary restraining order against Alexander, forcing him to stay at least 100 yards away from them or their home. On June 13, a judge granted Britney a three year restraining order against Jason.

At the 15-minute hearing, Ventura County Superior Court Judge Catherine Voelker set bail at $100,000 and ordered Alexander to appear again for ‘pre-trial risk assessment.’

The judge told Alexander – who appeared in court via video hookup from the local jail – that if he managed to raised the $100,000 bail, because of the felony stalking charge, he would not be allowed ‘to contact, annoy, harass,’ Britney and her new husband, and not to come within 100 yards of them for three years.

Spears married Alexander, her childhood friend, in Las Vegas in January 2004. The marriage was annulled 55 hours later with Spears’ lawyers claiming the singer ‘lacked understanding of her action.’

Spears was previously married from 2004 to 2007 to Kevin Federline, with whom she shares two sons, ages 15 and 16.

She met Asghari in 2016 on the set of the video for her song Slumber Party.

According to Ventura County Sheriff’s deputies, just a few hours before the fairytale ceremony, Alexander scaled a fence and climbed down a rocky slope to get on to the blonde singer’s 20-acre property inside an exclusive gated community.

Running toward Spears’ 12,464-square-foot Italian-style villa, he reportedly screamed: ‘I’m Jason Alexander. The first husband. I’m here to crash the wedding.’

Deputies say he then entered the wedding tent where 40 year-old Spears’ nuptials were soon to be held, shouting: ‘She’s my first wife, she’s my only wife.’

After allegedly fighting with Britney’s security guards, he was wrestled to the ground and later arrested on suspicion of misdemeanor battery, vandalism and trespassing. The felony stalking charge was only added Monday.

One of the security guards involved in the incident was also granted a restraining order against Alexander.

In their request for a restraining order Spears and Asghari, 28, alleged that Alexander was carrying a knife when he was arrested.

Britney has since fired the security guards who was present during the crashing and replaced them with a brand new team, according to TMZ.

Alexander’s bail has been set at $100,000 and he is scheduled to appear in court again on July 12, according to TMZ.  He has been in jail since his arrest June 9.
