Britney Spears spends Mother’s Day on her own as she’s spotted ordering from a drive-thru

Britney Spears has reportedly told a judge her father committed her to a mental facility and forced her to take medication against her will.

The singer’s claims were said to have been made as part of her legal bid to end an 11-year conservatorship which has given her dad, Jamie, control over her financial, medical and career affairs.

The 66-year-old has had this operational since she was hospitalized in 2008 and deemed legally incapable of taking care of herself.

But now Spears is desperate to end the legal arrangement as her mother, Lynne, was reportedly trying to obtain her daughter’s medical files and treatment plan from Jamie.

Spears has told a judge her father made her got to rehab against her will, according to TMZ.

Britney Spears drove herself to get a cup of coffee on Sunday. Two days earlier she left an LA court barefoot

She checked in to 30-day stint on April 3 and was pictured around Los Angeles during that period.

According to the terms of the conservatorship, Jamie Spears does not have the power to place his daughter in rehab against her will and any facility that did so with an adult patient would be breaking the law.

On Friday the star left the court in LA court barefoot and is understood to have asked for more freedoms under the conservatorship but the request was not granted during the closed doors hearing.

A judge is understood to have ordered an expert evaluation of her as she was reportedly ‘not doing well’.

Fans of the superstar were seen outside court protesting to ‘set her free’ and waving pink banners in support.

Spears also sought her mother to be more directly involved in her conservatorship.

Spears drove herself to get a quick cup of joe on Sunday, swapping seats with her bodyguard so she could kick up her feet for the drive back.

She wore a baby blue dress with light makeup and her hair appeared to be swept back in a pony tail.

The 37-year-old Toxic singer hasn’t posted a Mother’s Day message herself, the holiday coming just two days after she attended a conservatorship hearing with her mother Lynne.

But Spears was celebrated in a post by her boyfriend, 25-year-old personal trainer Sam Ashgari.

A conservator is a legal term that means a judge appointed guardian who manages the financial affairs of someone else due to physical or mental limitations.

The site added that Lynne does not want to become her daughter’s co-conservator but Britney is said to be siding with her mother in court because she reportedly ‘wants freedom.’

And it has been claimed that she is hoping her mother will ‘ease the restrictions.’

A judge is understood to have ordered an expert evaluation of Britney, which it is thought will include a mental examination.
