Brittany Hockley reveals the rudest celebrity she’s ever worked with

Brittany Hockley has revealed the ‘rudest’ celebrity she’s ever worked with is Ryan Gallagher from Married At First Sight.

She said on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on Thursday that Ryan was ‘so rude’ and ‘constantly having a go at her’ while filming The Challenge earlier this year.

The former Bachelor star, 35, who is filling in for Jackie ‘O’ Henderson for the next two weeks, insisted she’s ‘really easy to get on with’ but for some reason the comedian couldn’t stand her.

‘There was one person I clashed with, a male. You’ve really put me on the spot,’ she said, after a caller asked who her least favourite co-star from The Challenge was.

‘I want to start by saying it’s very hard to upset me or make me dislike you. I’m a lover, but there’s one person that was just so rude to me. I don’t know if they’ll even play it [on the show],’ she added.

When her co-host Kyle Sandilands pressed for a name, she reluctantly said: ‘It was Ryan from MAFS.’

‘I thought he was fine, but there were just two different humans in there,’ she added.

‘He was constantly having a go at me, calling me an idiot, calling me a drunk – I didn’t even drink. You could ask any member of the show, he just wasn’t nice to me.

‘I love everyone, I’m nice to everyone.’

Kyle was surprised by Brittany’s admission because he’s mates with Ryan.

He then decided to give him a call to hear his side of the story, suggesting his behaviour may have just been ‘negging’ – a form of flirting where a man subtly insults a woman to knock her off her pedestal.

A confused Britt said she ‘wasn’t going to speak to him’.

Ryan didn’t answer at first, but later called back and Kyle explained to him that Brittany had said there was drama between the pair.

‘You’ll have to wait and see, she shouldn’t be giving stuff away from the show,’ Ryan said, before congratulating Brittany on her new radio gig. 

‘He was constantly having a go at me, calling me an idiot, calling me a drunk – I didn’t even drink. You could ask any member of the show, he just wasn’t nice to me,’ Brittany said. (Ryan is pictured on The Challenge) 

The conversation soon steered towards rumours Ryan had a fling with Jackie O ‘back in the day’.

He denied they were anything more than friends, but did admit they once went out drinking and shared an Uber together.
