Brooke Blurton slams Abbie Chatfield after she ‘tainted the season’ by dating Konrad

The Bachelorette star Brooke Blurton slammed Abbie Chatfield on live radio on Friday, as she made a guest appearance on The Kyle and Jackie O Show on KIIS FM. 

Brooke, 26, who celebrated the finale of her show on Thursday, admitted that Abbie going public with her contestant Konrad Bien-Stephens helped spoil the season. 

And in another moment, Brooke played coy when asked about unfollowing her former ‘best friend’ on Instagram.   

‘I guess because Konrad was such a favourite, the spoilers taint the show a little bit,’ Brooke said.

‘If people know what the outcome would be, they’re not going to watch the show. And that’s fair enough.’

Kyle asked if Brooke had some words with Abbie after she and Konrad were first linked, when Brooke admitted that she spoke to her and smoothed it out. 

‘I guess because Konrad was such a favourite, the spoilers taint the show a little bit,’ Brooke said

‘Isn’t she your mate? Did you ring her and say b***h what is going on here?’ Kyle hilariously asked.  

‘I had that chat (with Abbie). Obviously they’re now dating, we knew in the works they were together and it was a night out they slipped up,’ she said, about them recently being spotted in public together before the season ended. 

‘It was wrong place, wrong time, but we had a chat and it’s all good,’ Brooke insisted. 

But she kept mum when Jackie mentioned she had unfollowed her new rival Abbie on Instagram.

Brooke wiped Abbie from her socials on Wednesday, a day before she awkwardly made a guest appearance on Brooke’s Bachelorette finale as one of her best friends.

Bizarrely enough, Abbie still follows the Channel 10 star on Instagram – but she doesn’t make the cut in Brooke’s 582 followers.

Abbie sparked a romance with Konrad – who was a fan favourite on The Bachelorette – earlier this month.

Daily Mail Australia published a video of the duo sharing a steamy kiss in Byron Bay on November 5 – however, Konrad was still starring on The Bachelorette at the time.

It means the cheeky pash didn’t only out them as a couple, but prematurely revealed Konrad was never the one to win Brooke’s heart.

Meanwhile, Brooke chose Darvid Garayeli as her winner on Thursday’s nights finale.
