Brooks Koepka pokes fun at his long-standing rivalry with Bryson DeChambeau at his wedding

Brooks Koepka hilariously paid tribute to his long-running rivalry with fellow golfer Bryson DeChambeau at his wedding.

The pair have been locked in a long-term dispute, with both golfers taking subliminal shots at each other over the last few years.

Yet Koepka may have topped the bitterness between the two, as his wedding outfit featured a comical tribute to his rivalry with DeChambeau.

The clash reared its head in May 2021 when Koepka was doing an interview with TV network Golf Channel after his second round at the PGA Championship.

DeChambeau walked right behind the interview, with the noise of his metal spikes completely distracting his fellow golfer.

‘Sometimes, um —I  lost my train of thought, hearing that bulls***,’ Koepka said after infamously rolling his eyes. ‘F****** Christ.’

The eye-roll was a viral hit on social media and Koepka paid tribute to the moment at his wedding with Jena Sims this summer – donning a pair of socks inspired by that video.

The 32-year-old shared a collection of images from his special day and featured in the gallery was a tongue-in-cheek picture of the socks.

The four-time major champion has endured a difficult spell on the course, missing the cut in The Players, Masters, PGA, and the 150th Open Championship.

The former world No 1 has also been embroiled in the LIV Golf controversy, alongside rival DeChambeau as the duo were both announced to be joining the series.
