The brother of a man who fled Australia to become in ISIS terrorist three years ago was allegedly accepted into the Queensland Police Force.
The recruit, who has not been named, was allegedly enrolled in police training and had made it through a ‘rigorous vetting process’ before the connection was discovered by the police force, according to News Corp.
The man had completed two weeks of training but resigned when confronted by authorities.

He reportedly did not disclose the information despite employees being required to disclose ‘relevant information’.
Out of the 387 police recruits this year, 25 ‘have either resigned or had their recruit contracts terminated or suspended,’ a QPS spokesperson told Daily Mail Australia.
The QPS, which said it cannot comment on specific cases, maintained that it has a ‘rigorous point-in-time integrity vetting process to determine the suitability of police recruit applicants which includes background checks.’
‘Failure to disclose relevant information may result in the termination of a recruit’s contract.’
‘QPS employees are also required to make ongoing disclosures throughout their career,’ the spokesperson said.
