‘Our baby boy has arrived’: AFL power couple Buddy and Jesinta Franklin welcome a son
AFL star Lance ‘Buddy’ Franklin and his model wife Jesinta Campbell have welcomed their second child together – a baby boy.
Sydney Swans player Buddy, 34, announced the happy news on Instagram on Wednesday by posting a sweet black and white photo of himself cradling their tiny bundle of joy.
‘Our baby boy has arrived,’ Buddy captioned the post, adding a blue love heart emoji.

In the image Buddy beams at the camera as he holds the tiny tot, whose name is yet to be revealed, while still in hospital.
According to Seven News, the tiny tot was born on Wednesday morning.
Buddy and Jesinta, 29, received well wishes and congratulatory messages from followers and fans in the comments section of his post.
‘Congrats guys,’ model and new mother Elyse Knowles wrote underneath, alongside blue love heart emojis and a rainbow.

Jesinta was last seen in public on March 8, just before the birth.
She looked absolutely stunning as she stepped out at a Marie Claire breakfast in Sydney while heavily pregnant.
At the event, she showed off her baby bump in a flowing brown maxi dress and couldn’t wipe the smile off her face.

Just last week, Buddy shared a rare photo to Instagram of himself with his one-year-old daughter, Tullulah.
The 34-year-old athlete captioned the post, which showed him and the child wearing bathrobes in a hotel suite: ‘Always a beautiful stay with my girls.’

In an interview with The Herald Sun in February, Buddy confirmed Jesinta was just weeks away from giving birth to their second child.
‘We are five or six weeks away from having our second. I am really excited about that and can’t wait to become a father for the second time,’ he said.
‘The main thing is you have got a happy and healthy family. Being a father has been the best thing for me. I am loving every minute of it and I wouldn’t have it any other way.’
