Terrified teenagers claimed they witnessed the horrifying alleged attack outside the Chisholm TAFE in Frankston, in South East Melbourne on Tuesday.

‘We saw the sort of Staffy puppy running by on the footpath next to us, and then there was this big bulky guy running after him, she said.

‘He picked it up, started punching him in the face and then he saw I was looking and aggressively yelled out ‘what are you looking at’.

The teenager claimed the man, who she said lived in the same house as the dog, then started punching, hitting and kicking the terrified puppy before he ran away.

‘He walked down about 50 metres and put the dog to the ground and just started punching it and took his shoe off and started hitting it with the shoe and he started kicking it, she said.

‘And he dragged it for about two metres on the concrete, then the dog ran away from him cos it was obviously very scared of him.’
