Burger King is giving its famous Whoppers for FREE today – here’s how you can save yourself £4.49

Burger King fans rejoice because today is your chance to get your hands on a free £4.49 Whopper.

The fast-food chain announced that British customers who download the fast-food chain’s app will be able to download a voucher which can then be used in-store or when ordered on the app for click and collect.

New offers will be available every day, starting today with Whopper Day, but foodies will have to quick because the offers will end on July 6.

The Whopper, which was created in 1957 by Burger King co-founder James McLamore, is well-known for its flame-grilled beef, fresh onions, tomato and lettuce.

All day today, Burger King fans will be able to get a free whopper, pictured, normally priced at £4.49, through the BK app, as part of Whopper Day and Burger King’s A Whopper of a Summer campaign, which will last until 6 July

Each day, until July 6, fans will be able to bag some mouth-watering deals – and on selected days, there’ll also be a free four pack of Chilli cheese bits with any purchase.

Soco Nunez, Marketing Director at Burger King UK commented: ‘After the year we’ve all had, we wanted to take the opportunity to celebrate all things Whopper, so we’ve brought back Whopper Day!

‘We are looking forward to fans being able to get their hands on our hero product for free!

‘We’re certainly making it a summer to remember at Burger King and are excited to be able to see customers enjoying these deals in-store too,’ he added.

Other items to be removed from the menu include the chicken deluxe meal and the Galaxy chocolate McFlurry and the Galaxy caramel McFlurry.

McDonald’s are currently launching a week’s worth of deals on their app, meaning customers can get more than 50 per cent off on their favourite treats.
