Cadbury have announced bizarre new frankenfood chocolate in an attempt to keep savory and sweet snackers satisfied.

The famous chocolate company have teamed up with Kettle Chips and CC’s Original Corn Chips to create the confusing combination.

But has the long debate between chocolate and chips been put to rest by combining the pair or is it just another fleeting gimmick for the confectionery companies?

Confectionery company Cadbury have sent chocolate and chip fans into a flurry after they released the limited edition new blend

Curious shoppers took to social media to question and comment on the odd collaboration.

‘I’d say fake but they did Vegemite,’ another pointed out.

It seems Australians are merely the sounding board for the strange creations by the confectionery company.

In 2015 Cadbury announced their daily milk chocolate would be melded with an Australian favourite – Vegemite.

What become one of the most contentious and consistent talking points down under, the limited edition chocolate was swiftly pulled from the shelves.
