A man has died after he was run over by his own car while sleeping at a campsite.
The 20-year-old man and his partner from Victoria were holidaying at a campground in Barooga, west of Albury on Saturday night.
The couple had been staying by the river when their 4WD ran over the man while he was asleep in his swag at about 9:30pm on Saturday.

Other campers rendered first aid to him but he died at the scene.
The site is a well-known camping spot, with over 190 campgrounds nearby.
It is not yet clear what caused the car to move.
Officers from Murray River Police District are investigating the circumstances surrounding the incident and are appealing for any witnesses to come forward.
A report will be prepared for the Coroner.
