Two teenagers are posing as cancer patients for the Leukaemia Foundation and collecting donations in Queensland. 

The girls are not a part of any official charity and are collecting the donation in a deceitful way, police have warned. 

The teenagers who are door knocking in Toowoomba are around the age of 13 and have shaved their heads.

Queensland police believe the girls do not have Leukaemia and are investigating the the incident. 

They have also warned to not fall for the scam and to make a report if you have donated or have seen the pair asking for donations. 

‘Thankfully stories like this are very rare,’ the Leukaemia Foundation’s CEO Bill Petch told the Daily Mail.

‘We’re lucky to be able to count on thousands of people each year, many of whom have been impacted by blood cancer, legitimately raising money for the Leukaemia Foundation,’ he said. 

‘If anyone has any concerns whatsoever about people fundraising for the Leukaemia Foundation in their community, please contact us straight away on 1800 620 420.’
