‘This is NOT good’: Candice Warner ribs her cricketer husband David for his unruly moustache after admitting she found his facial hair ‘quite attractive’

Candice Warner recently said she was a fan of her cricketer husband’s moustache.

But it appears the former Ironwoman has back pedalled, and changed her opinion about his facial hair.

On Monday, the 36-year-old commented on a photo posted by David on Instagram, in which he was seen sporting his strip of facial hair and a quirky wool hat.

‘This is NOT good’: Candice Warner ribbed cricketer husband David for his moustache. On Monday, he posted a photo of himself on Instagram with black a winter cap on and showing his slightly unkempt moustache

‘Just going through my hats, a Portobello market special!! Thoughts?? Keep or throw??’ he wrote in the caption of his photo.

Candice couldn’t give her opinion on the hat because she couldn’t see past her hubby’s untrimmed and untidy facial hair.

‘This is NOT good!’ she exclaimed.

Not happy: David asked his fans if he should keep the hat, however, Candice couldn't get past his facial hair

A number of fans agreed with her, including one who said: ‘hat’s a keeper but the mo has to go… hair grows back, hats up there with the baggy green.’

A second follower suggested Candice shave off her husband’s facial hair, writing: ‘@candywarner1 you cut that moustache when he is sleeping, he is really looking awkward.’

David responded back to Candice’s comment, and said: ‘you said it was ok at the time’.

Candice’s change of opinion comes after she admitted that she ‘liked it’, but noted one issue she had with it during an interview on The Morning Show last week.

‘I actually like it, but it does need to be trimmed a little bit more often,’ she said diplomatically.

‘And the girls [their daughters] are always like, “Dad, shave it off, it’s itchy”.’

She added: ‘I don’t mind it, I actually find it quite attractive. I like it, he just started it because he likes it.’
