Cannes Film Festival: Candice Swanepoel wears figure-hugging cream gown on red carpet

Candice Swanepoel dons a figure-clinching cream gown featuring a halterneck design and a miniature train as she walks the Cannes red carpet

Candice Swanepoel wore a figure-clinching cream number to strut along the red carpet at Wednesday’s Cannes Film Festival day two.

Joining the likes of Diane Kruger, Eva Herzigová and Andie Macdowell for a screening of French drama Tout S’est Bien Passe (Everything Went Well in English), Candice, 32, stunned in the backless dress as it trickled around her lithe figure.

Featuring a halterneck design, the gown had a miniature train which trailed along behind the South African supermodel.

Made by designer Etro, the evening gown featured a silk jersey with  a crystal and bead embroidered Paisley hem. 

She wore sparkling accessories and whipped her blonde locks back from her striking features.

She wore a creamy palette of cosmetics with a nude lip and a dusting of mascara on her lashes.

Tout S’est Bien Passé was written and directed by François Ozon, based upon the novel Everything Went Well by Emmanuèle Bernheim. 

It stars Sophie Marceau, André Dussollier, Géraldine Pailhas, Charlotte Rampling, Hanna Schygulla, Éric Caravaca and Grégory Gadebois.

It is scheduled to be released in France on 22 September.

Cannes kicked off the night before with a glittering opening ceremony.

The likes of Bella Hadid, Jodie Foster and Spike Lee were in attendance for the 74th annual Festival.
