Speaking on podcast The Waffle Shop Unfiltered, Caprice looked back over her modelling career and dismissed other models’ claims on how they maintain their svelte physiques.

She said: ‘I couldn’t stand it when models were saying things like ”I don’t know how I keep my figure, I still eat burgers”. I am sorry, but that is such BS!

‘All I saw on photo-shoots were other models smoking fags and eating apples. So that is a load of s**te, don’t believe them when they say that.

‘That’s what I saw when working in the industry every single day for 20 years straight. For goodness sakes, I spent my whole life dieting. Let’s keep it real’.

Caprice also revealed how, when growing up, she wanted to be Governor of California when younger but the appeal of making money from modelling pulled her in that direction.

She said: ‘Beauty pageants opened up a lot of doors for me, I wouldn’t have started modelling otherwise. I was scouted at one and I was told I could make a lot of money modelling….I said holy smokes, let’s do it’.

‘But I actually wanted to be the Governor of California growing up. I had those aspirations. But I saw the modelling opportunity and I was sold (she laughs). No more dreams of being Governor of California for me.

‘Regarding the beauty pageants I needed, we needed to nail those questions to win. But we knew ALL of the questions beforehand and it was all a load of b*****ks to be fair.

‘That is what launched me into this opportunity though. I couldn’t afford to go to Uni. I luckily won a pageant and the scout was there, and boom my modelling career was launched’.

'A load of sh**te!' 'All I saw on photo-shoots were other models smoking fags and eating apples. So that is a load of s**te, don't believe them when they say that' said Caprice
