Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie leave Buenos Aires restaurant moments before paparazzi chase

The Argentine paparazzo who broke his arm while running away from Cara Delevingne and Margot Robbie’s friends has published the photos he took of the group, moments before he was chased from the scene.

Delevingne, 30, and Robbie, 32, dined on Saturday night at the Buenos Aires restaurant owned by celebrity chef Francis Mallmann, in the atmospheric, working class district of La Boca.

They were accompanied by Robbie’s husband, British film producer Tom Ackerley, and two other filmmakers – Josey McNamara, producer of Robbie’s films Barbie and a new Ocean’s Eleven; and Jac Hopkins, a key grip.

Exclusive photos obtained by DailyMail.com, taken by photographer Pedro Alberto Orquera, show the group leaving the restaurant around 3am on Sunday.

Delevingne, in a green jacket, gets into the waiting orange Renault Sandero first, while Ackerley holds the door open.

Robbie, in a grey skirt suit and thick black pantyhose, gets into the car after Delevingne.

Orquera claims that McNamara and Hopkins became angry at his presence, and chased him away.

Surveillance camera footage shows Orquera running with people in pursuit, and then falling near an oncoming car.

The 61-year-old was taken to hospital with a broken arm, and McNamara and Hopkins questioned by Argentine police.

Orquera, who suffered several cuts and a broken arm after a fall, told Argentine outlet TN he was able to protect his equipment and the prized shots he’d taken, but at a considerable cost.

‘My life was saved by a miracle, I don’t know what would have happened if I fell head first to the ground, with the speed that those people chased after me,’ Orquera said.

‘They never took my material from me… when I fell to the ground [the camera] was smashed but I was able to save the material.’

Orquera was placed in a neck brace and stretchered to the nearby Argerich Hospital in the Argentine capital, where he remains following initial treatment and is awaiting surgery for his badly broken arm.

He told TN his arm was severely injured and it is unknown whether he will regain full use of the limb.

‘I have a cast on my right arm, my arm is very compromised and I don’t know if I’m going to lose it,’ he claimed.

A source told to TMZ, however, that Orquera was actually the aggressor, and that he rushed the actresses as they were climbing into an Uber.

TMZ reported that the driver put his foot on the accelerator in fright, while Robbie was only halfway into the car.

The source said Orquera continued to photograph the scene as Robbie lay on the ground after leaping from the moving car, and that he tripped and hurt himself after running off when McNamara and Hopkins moved in to help.

A police report seen by The Sun shows that McNamara and Hopkins told officers that Orquera was ‘responsible for his own injuries’ because the two actresses had not given consent to be pictured.

Orquera is planning to file a lawsuit, alleging that the injuries he sustained will prevent him from being able to work.

‘The most unfortunate thing [about the attack] is that it leaves me immobile, unable to work or move,’ Orquera said.

‘I am no longer going to be able to do any work and I don’t know if I am going to get my arm back the way it should be.’

Delevingne and Robbie became friends in 2016 when they worked on the DC comic-inspired Suicide Squad film.

Robbie played Harley Quinn, while Delevingne played a character named Enchantress.

The pair had travelled to Argentina after attending Paris fashion week events early last week, and Robbie was spotted in Argentina on Friday, stopping to take pictures with some fans.

The attack on Orquera comes less than a month after Robbie was pictured leaving Delevingne’s West Hollywood home seemingly in tears, amid rumors that the British supermodel was struggling with health concerns.

Delevingne failed to show up to the launch of her fashion collection honoring late designer Karl Lagerfeld, which was held at chic restaurant Saga in the New York City’s Financial District in early September.

Nor was Delevingne present at the Emmy Awards on September 13, where her cast mates in the series Only Murders in the Building were nominated for a series of awards.

A source close to the Delevingne family told The Sun that the star was struggling and had been ‘burning the candle at both ends’ as of late.

She was, however, in Paris on September 27 for the launch of the Lagerfeld collaboration.
