Cardi B gives NYPD the finger in profanity-laced Instagram video for shutting down her friend’s back-to-school event to raise supplies for kids

Cardi B has launched an angry tirade against the NYPD in a profanity-laden Instagram video.
In a post uploaded on Tuesday night, the Bodak Yellow rapper claimed the police department played a part in shutting down a back-to-school event being hosted by her friend, Star Brim.
In the video, she said her ‘homegirl’ had been planning a school giveaway in Brooklyn next Tuesday.
‘Unfortunately it got shut down because the NYPD called the school principal of the location they was having the giveaway, and practically scared off the principal and now the sh** got shut down,’ the Bronx-raised artist said

But the event was cancelled after police allegedly phoned the school and ‘scared off’ the principal.
‘Unfortunately it got shut down because the NYPD called the school principal of the location they was having the giveaway, and practically scared off the principal and now the sh** got shut down,’ the Bronx-raised artist said.
She went on to explain: ‘This was really for the kids, shorty was really coming out her pocket just to help the community, and it was for kids to have a fun, positive day.
‘It’s to benefit the parents with school supplies and many more things….
‘I just find that sh*t so f**ked up. And f**k you and motherf**king suck a fart and suffocate on it. F**k you!’ she said as she stuck her middle finger up at the camera.
Back-to-school drives are held by local volunteers who want to raise supplies for children going back to school after the holidays.
Supplies generally include paper, pencils and pens and classroom staples.

In an Instagram post at the time, Cardi B said she was proud of her friend for turning herself in in the proper way.
‘Ya maa happy cause she away or like she just got snatch but shorty been prepare for this and turn herself in early cause she just want to get sh*t over with and do her time. I mean why wouldn’t she?’ she wrote.
