It comes after Carol  hinted at a fiery clash on the all-stars spin-off of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!

Speaking to Lorraine on Thursday morning, she discussed her fellow campmates and how she got on in the jungle.

Asked about the pre-recorded show, she said swiftly: ‘Janice Dickinson, we’ll not talk about her. She’s bonkers, totally bonkers.’

The TV favourite went on to share her love for Helen Flanagan, revealing she has a sweet nickname for the former Coronation Street star, 32, referring to her as ‘my little meerkat’.

She told her: ‘So Helen Flanagan I have absolutely and totally fallen in love with. She’s my little meerkat. I love her.’

Carol then moved on to former boxer Amir Khan, 36, branding him as ‘one of the funniest men on earth’.

She continued: ‘Jordan Banjo, he was in Australia with me, I was like his jungle mum and he was my jungle son. Love Jordan.

‘And obviously, Ashley [Banjo] now, we co-present pride of Britain awards, I’m basically part of the Banjo family now.

‘It was funny and tough, and a lot of people I kind of knew before… Paul Burrell, Fatima Whitbread – what a woman what a story.’

As well as the one’s mentioned, Carol will be joined by Happy Mondays star Shaun Ryder, 60 and former English international cricketer Phil Tufnell, 56.

More stars will be announced in due course, with the series set to air at the end of next month.

The new series sees the return of some of the most memorable campmates from I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! in the brand new setting of South Africa.

The challenges will be bigger and tougher and the environment harsher and more unforgiving than the usual Australian jungle.

With no public vote, they will be competing against each other in a battle to become the first ever I’m A Celebrity Legend.

Ant said: ‘It’s a question we always get asked…who would you bring back to the jungle?

‘So to get this opportunity to make a brand new show in South Africa and put some of our previous campmates through their paces again was the dream.’

Dec added: ‘It’s bigger and wilder than we could have hoped for so viewers are in for a real treat!’

Former soap actress Helen, who appeared on the 12th series in 2012, entertained viewers the first time around.

Helen reportedly annoyed producers and even hosts Ant and Dec by quitting numerous challenges without even giving them a try, causing tension in the camp as the celebrities went without food for nearly 10 days.
