A host of stars have got into the holiday spirit as they shared festive well wishes to their social media followers while celebrating Christmas Eve.
Victoria Beckham, 45, posted a sweet picture of the Beckham boys – David, Brooklyn, Romeo and Cruz – all wearing matching white t-shirts and striped pyjama bottoms as they settled in for Christmas Eve.
While Sir Elton John, 72, was also seen getting into the festive spirit as he grinned next to a tree decorated in red and gold while holding his stocking and Geri Horner, 47, looked serene as she held five advent candles.
A slew of other stars also shared their own countdowns to Christmas day, with names such as Fearne Cotton, Tamara Ecclestone, Stacey Solomon and Sam Smith uploading their own cute festive posts.

In Victoria’s family picture her husband and sons all appear relaxed and ready for bed as they sweetly smile in their matching pyjamas.
David is seen in the middle of the snap, with his shirt being embroidered with ‘daddy’, while his boys sit beside him and in front of the family’s red and white stockings.
And it wasn’t just the men who got to match, Victoria made sure that she and eight-year-old daughter Harper, who adorably wrote a card for Santa, wore some stunning sleepwear in pairs of mustard satin PJs.
Meanwhile her former Spice Girls band mate Geri Horner also put on a festive display in a white puffer jacket and trousers as she posed with an advent wreath, complete with five lit candles.
The singer smiled as she held the candles inside a church and captioned her Instagram post: ‘What’s your Christmas wish?’.

Taking to Instagram Stories, Victoria, 45, shared posts of daughter Harper, eight, getting a visit from Santa Claus just days after her lavish christening, while son Brooklyn, 20, appeared mortified after having his nails painted as he and Cruz, 14, raced to see who could build their toy snowman the fastest.

Donning a festive gold crown, the schoolgirl was grinning from ear to ear as she visited the grotto and appeared to be on her best behaviour as she clutched the Good List in her hands.
Among the family’s Christmas adventures were a visit to Santa’s workshop, with Victoria and David’s oldest son Brooklyn having his nails painted a deep black.

The eldest Beckham was out run by his brother, who held up his completed toy with delight, while Victoria playfully captioned her post: ‘Of course you did.’
Luckily Brooklyn seemed to take the blunder in good humour, as Victoria referenced Cruz in a caption saying: ‘At least you know how to make your brother laugh!’

The family’s outing comes after they celebrated the baptisms of both Harper and Cruz with a star-studded party at their Cotswolds manor on Saturday.
Victoria took to Instagram on Saturday to share a group snap from the celebration, as she praised her children’s wonderful godparents Eva Longoria, Marc Anthony, hairdresser Ken Paves and sports agent David Gardner.
She wrote: ‘I couldn’t be more proud of my children and thankful to my family, and the most wonderful Godparents. We love you @evalongoria @kenpaves @marcanthony @davidgardner x kisses.’
