Caroline Flack’s ex-fiance Andrew Brady ‘dialled 999 for an ambulance to be sent to her home

Caroline Flack’s ex-fiance Andrew Brady called an ambulance to her house amid fears she would kill herself after a drunken row.

The ex-Apprentice star grew concerned after yet another blazing row over the phone but Flack’s camp have accused the 28-year-old of making the call vindictively, describing the episode as a ‘non-event’.

They came out and told the Sun on Sunday that the 39-year-old would never kill herself and that Brady later apologised for ‘creating unnecessary drama.’

The pair met in January before becoming engaged three months later and splitting recently

A source told the paper: ‘At one point she had given the impression she felt like killing herself. Of course she didn’t mean it but Andrew felt he had no option but to call 999.’

Two paramedics soon arrived at Flack’s plush £1.5m North London home on November 1 to check on her, but she assured them she was OK.

The source added: ‘By the time they arrived, Caroline had sobered up a bit and the crew gave her the once-over.’

The presenter, who has been treated for anxiety issues in the past, then contacted friends to reassure them everything was fine – having previously called them ‘slurring and incoherent.’

The Love Island presenter is then said to have received texts from Brady later saying that he was sorry for ‘creating unnecessary drama’, and ‘wasting emergency services’ time’.

The source said that although there was booze on the scene when paramedics  arrived at Flack’s home, she was ‘mortified’ and ‘she hadn’t taken an overdose and never would.’

They said she apologises profusely for her ex wasting emergency services time and added: ‘It was typical Andrew — he was creating unnecessary drama and made a drunken prank call.’

The pair met back in January and got engaged in April. They have endured a strained relationship since with a string of high-profile bust ups.

Ex-Celebrity Big Brother contestant reportedly became abusive towards flack after smuggling alcohol into a spa complex in Portugal where it is banned.

Staff at the A-list haunt allegedly threw him out after the ugly scenes after fellow guests complained.

They became engaged after just three months together and seemed like the ideal couple until Caroline pulled the plug on their engagement after realising Brady was ‘full of lies’.

The Apprentice flop also ruffled her feathers by spouting details of the break-up on social media when she had wanted to go about it privately.

Sources close to Flack said that a ‘fame hungry’ Brady used her to ‘increase his status.’

She was pictured in London this week with a coat seemingly tactically thrown over her hand, hiding her bare ring finger amid wild interest in her break up with Brady.

Despite recent turmoil, Caroline Flack is reportedly returning to Strictly Come Dancing this Christmas to take part in the annual festive edition of the series – having won the show in 2014.

She is said to have ‘jumped at the chance’ to return to the BBC show.
