‘There were some notable absences including the one and only Lady Gaga, Sarah Jessica Parker and our fave Met fashionista Nicki Minaj,’ Carrie said as footage of Cardi B dressed in a red gown at the 2019 Met Gala rolled.

Carrie was trying to refer to Nicki boycotting the Met Gala this year because she refused to be vaccinated against Covid-19 to attend.

‘Y’all realise you showed a clip of Cardi B when talking about Nicki Minaj right? I’m so embarrassed for you #TheProjectTV, you also pronounced Keke Palmer’s name wrong,’ one viewer tweeted.

Another called the mishap ‘blasphemy’.

‘Umm The Project, you just said a notable absence was Nicki Minaj for being antivax while showing footage of the iconic MET QUEENNNN Cardi B in her stunning red dress. This is blasphemy,’ they tweeted.

Nicki, 38, made headlines overnight after tweeted that she’d refused to have the Covid vaccine and had pulled out of her appearance at the Met Gala because the event required guests to be fully vaccinated.

She sparked criticism on Monday after she dangerously advised her followers to consider the ‘side effects’ of rolling up their sleeves for the life-saving Covid vaccine.

‘My cousin in Trinidad won’t get the vaccine because his friend got it and became impotent,’ she Tweeted.

‘His testicles became swollen. His friend was weeks away from getting married, now the girl called off the wedding.

‘So just pray on it and make sure you’re comfortable with your decision, not bullied.’

Hours later, Western Sydney Health called out the singer – urging her to stick to the role she knows best.

‘We promise to leave the rapping to @NickiMinaj if she leaves medicine to doctors and scientists,’ the department tweeted.

There is no evidence Covid-19 vaccines cause either erectile dysfunction or male infertility.
