She posted a cute snap of Adelaide cuddling a teddy, as well as photos of the pair in matching sunglasses and sharing a kiss.

It comes after little Adelaide almost stole the spotlight when she made a subtle tribute to her mum while sitting in the audience alongside her dad Chris Walker and siblings Ollie, 15, and Evie, seven, during Carrie’s final appearance on The Project last month.

Sitting on her dad’s lap, Adelaide held up a sign that featured a number of personalised messages from the family.

The message displayed appeared to be from her eldest child and son, which read: ‘I am so proud of how far you have come.’

‘I love you very much and support you in whatever thing you choose to do next!!! – Ollie.’

The card also appeared to show several drawings of pink love hearts and colourful balloons.

The Project bid a tearful farewell to Carrie last week, as the popular TV personality said goodbye after 13 years on the show.

The TV host made an emotional final speech as she thanked her team, her family and The Project’s viewers.

‘Is it too late to change my mind?’ she joked through watery eyes as confetti cannons fired through the studio.

With a shaky voice, Carrie thanked her family and her parents who sat together in the audience.

‘To Chris. Thank you for everything. Your guidance and advice over the years, your amazing production skills…’ she continued.

‘This show has given us so much. We wouldn’t have our beautiful little prophets if it wasn’t for The Project.’

Speaking to her children, she said: ‘You guys are my world. Love you guys.’

‘To my parents, and my friends and family. It certainly takes a village to help a mum of three do a job like this on TV and I couldn’t have done it without all of you. So thank you so much for picking up the pieces,’ she added.

Wednesday also marked an end to her 17 years with Channel 10.

Her 10-minute speech came after two touching tributes from her fellow panellists Peter Helliar and Waleed Aly.

‘You radiate generosity and warmth, and it bounces back to us from the amazing audience. It all starts with you. I cannot wait to see what you do next,’ Helliar said.
