The news comes as the  songstress shared an Instagram photo last week of an X-ray of her wrist with a plate and several screws holding the broken bone together.

She wrote: ‘Last check up on the old wrist this morning!! Thanks, Dr. Wurthand my PT angel, Renee, a.k.a. “Bulldog” for fixing me up!! I’m good to go’

It was also revealed last month that the star had to have 40 to 50 stitches in her face after the accident.

While on the mend, Carrie warned her fans that she is ‘not quite looking the same’ as a result of the facial cuts and the stitches required to close them.

She wrote to members of her fan club on Sunday: ‘I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way. And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.

‘It’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life.’ she added.

‘I’ll spare you the gruesome details, but when I came out of surgery the night of my fall, the doctor told Mike that he had put between 40 and 50 stitches in.’

Back in November Carrie reassured fans that she was okay after the incident that led her being hospitalized after falling on steps at her home.

The Before He Cheats singer said: ‘I just want to let everyone know I’m doing great.’

‘Had surgery on my wrist yesterday & all went well…even though I’ll be setting off airport metal detectors from now on…I’m so thankful for the doctors, nurses, family & friends who’ve been taking such great care of me.’

When she first confirmed the incident via Twitter, Carrie said that she was being taken care by her lovely husband, retired NHL hockey star Mike Fisher.
