Carrie Underwood shares rare photo of herself after injury

Carrie Underwood is bouncing back from a November fall that left her with a broken wrist and requiring dozens of stitches to her face.

The country singer, 34, made a rare appearance in a charming Instagram set Saturday that featured her son Isaiah, two, and husband Mike Fisher, 37, helping with the star’s workout.

Though the American Idol alum’s face was turned away in the pictures, she seemed upbeat, captioning the set: ‘My boys make work outs fun (and a bit less productive, but that’s ok)! #StayThePath.’

In the first photo the Dirty Laundry songstress demonstrated her strength while sitting in a chair position donning a black tank top, matching leggings and monochrome kicks.

Besides Underwood her little guy mimicked his mommy, crouching down while holding a red toy.

The next pictures showed Carrie’s hockey player husband, who recently announced his return to the NHL after a brief retirement, showing Isaiah how to do a push-up.

In January, Underwood gave fans an update on her broken wrist after she underwent surgery in November following a nasty fall at home.

The Little Toy Guns singer said that there was ‘much uncertainty as to how things will end up,’ commenting that it’s crazy how a freak random accident can change your life.

The songstress also shared a photo of an X-ray of her wrist with a plate and several screws holding the broken bone together.

While on the mend, Carrie warned her fans that she is ‘not quite looking the same’ as a result of the facial cuts and the stitches required to close them.

She wrote to members of her fan club on Sunday: ‘I am determined to make 2018 amazing and I want to share things with you along the way. And when I am ready to get in front of a camera, I want you all to understand why I might look a bit different.’
