Casefile is an award-winning true-crime podcast that presents unforgettable stories that delve deep into the circumstances, investigations and trials of both solved and unsolved cases.

Many early episodes relate to Australian cases, like Port Arthur or the Snowtown muders, although notable crimes from the UK and the USA are increasingly featured in later series.

First started in 2016 as a one-person side project, Casefile has grown to include an entire team based across multiple continents.

The Australian narrator remains anonymous, and the podcast is released on a Sunday for three consecutive weeks, with a break on the fourth week.

Casefile has won a number of awards in the podcast world, including Apple Podcasts (Best of 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020) and Spotify’s Podcast of the Decade.

At present, there are a staggering 187 episodes.

Only Murders in the Building follows three neighbours in a New York City apartment building who are all true crime buffs.

Their amateur detective skills are put to the test when an actual murder happens in their building and they try to solve the case themselves.

The show’s concluding episode will air on Hulu on October 5.
