Casey Donovan performs at the Rugby League World Cup

She underwent a career revival earlier in the year after winning I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!

And on Friday night, Casey Donovan continued her ascent back into public life as she took to the stage to perform at the Rugby League World Cup in Melbourne.

The former Uber driver, 29, brought down the house by belting out a number of show-stopping tunes before Australia took on England.

The prices are down, but her stocks are up! On Friday, Coles jingle singer Casey Donovan continued her ascent back into public life as she performed at the Rugby League World Cup in Melbourne

Casey, who sings Coles’ popular ‘Prices Are Down’ jingle, dazzled in a bright red top during her performance.

She teamed the eye-catching garment with racy leather pants and a pair of strappy black heels.

Clearly enjoying her time, the Bankstown, Sydney native was seen smiling and rallying the crowd as a number of back-up performers joined her on the stage.

Casey’s spectacular vocals were complemented by a light-show and pyrotechnics, with a dramatic giant flame seen blowing into the air behind the bellowing singer.

Taking to Instagram after the show, the star wrote: ‘What an Amazing Night Performing at the Opening Ceremony of the #rlwc2017’

The singer continued, calling the opportunity ‘magical’, and saying it was a ‘treat’ and an ‘honour’ to perform.

Casey shot to fame at the tender age of 16, winning the second season of Australian Idol in 2004.

However, the star struggled in the spotlight. She was also the victim of a nasty catfishing scam which she detailed in her 2014 memoir, Big, Beautiful & Sexy.

The bubbly star resurfaced on I’m A Celebrity earlier this year, becoming a fan favourite and winning the series.

Buoyed by the success, she released her first single, Lonely, back in May.
