She’s the beloved Australian Idol winner who has been documenting her weight loss journey since 2017.

And Casey Donovan, 30, enjoyed some well-deserved downtime at Clovelly Beach, Sydney on Saturday after a workout with her personal trainer.

The former I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! winner went for a swim with a mystery man during a low-key outing.

Dressed in a black swimsuit, Casey looked in happy and relaxed spirits as she soaked up the summer sun.

She appeared to be makeup free and wore her brunette hair in a high bun.

The songstress was seen making her way in the water alongside a bearded gentleman, who appeared to be a friend.

At one point, the pair were seen reading books while laying down on beach towels after sensibly applying sunscreen.

Casey, who weighed 149kg when she entered the I’m a Celebrity jungle in 2017, vowed to reach her goal weight of under 100kg after winning the show.

‘I would like to continue on, you know, kind of eating clean and not going back to old habits,’ she told her campmates of her weight loss plans.

‘Although I am happy and confident in my own skin now, I would like to feel how it is to be happy and confident in a new skin and with a new look on life.’

Casey lost a total of 17kg during her six weeks in the South African jungle.

A basic diet of rice and beans, supplemented by food won in Tucker Trials, helped her reach a weight of 132kg.

‘I didn’t expect 17kg, I was maybe thinking five or eight,’ she said after the show.

‘I’m happy. I’m never confident about weight… I don’t like to stand on scales.’

In late 2017, Casey told Yahoo that despite her weight loss, she still gets ‘fat shamed all the f**king time’.

‘I’m doing my very best but you know it’s hard. It’s been on and off with travel. When you’re on the road it’s very, very tricky [to lose weight],’ she said at the time.

Meanwhile, she is continuing to work on her fitness with the help of celebrity personal trainer Jono Castano Acero.

The Clovelly sighting comes after Casey, who has described herself as a ‘recovering sex addict’, appeared on Channel 10’s dating show Blind Date in a bid to find love.
