Cass Wood’s mother grills Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins during hometown visits

Cass Wood has been fond of Nick ‘The Honey Badger’ Cummins since before The Bachelor even began.

And now that the 23-year-old has made it to home town visits, the former international rugby union star is set to be grilled by her protective mother.

Cass’ mum, Maggie Wood-Ackers, will grill The Bachelor on his intentions with her daughter and his thoughts on a future with her on Thursday’s episode.

In a preview for the upcoming episode Mrs Wood-Ackers asks Nick, ‘how was seeing Cass arrive on The Bachelor?’

Before he can answer, she follows up, ‘I mean Cassie’s told me everything’ – seeming to hint at the pair’s history.

The blonde appears to try and signal her to stop from continuing down that particular conversation.

‘What the f*** mum,’ red-faced Cass says in her single interview.

But despite getting a wave down from the beauty, Mrs Wood-Ackers defended her line of questioning, ‘I can ask, I’m the mum.’

She continued press him, saying ‘one of them is gonna get hurt.’ 

But Nick stepped up and answered her, ‘yeah you’re right’ before the rest of his answer was shown.

The National Geographic host will be subjected to a series of very intense home visits with the remain four ladies; Brooke Blurton, Sophie Tieman and Brittany Hockley.

Nick acknowledges that there are still four girls in the running for his heart to which the defensive father bluntly says, ‘I’m acutely aware of that.’ 

‘I’ve got my daughter to worry about… you break her heart, I’m going to be the one to have to pick up the pieces,’ he warned.

The Bachelor continues Thursday, 7.30pm on Channel Ten
