And the Today Show star’s ex-wife Cassandra Thorburn certainly appears to be feeling the strain.

Prior to making her purchase, Cassandra cut a harried figure as she talked on her mobile and filled up her black Volvo with fuel.

The mother-of-three failed to raise a smile as as she multi-tasked at the petrol pump. 

Despite appearing tense, the brunette looked effortlessly chic in a black top and blue skinny jeans.

She completed her outfit with a stylish grey cardigan and a pair of Adidas sneakers.

Perhaps feeling fatigued, Cassandra also decided to get a caffeine fix as she paid for her petrol.

The former ABC journalist was seen juggling a takeaway coffee cup with two packets of cigarettes as she headed back towards her car.

Her outing comes less than 48 hours after Karl put on a loved-up display with new fiancée Jasmine Yarbrough at the Logie Awards on Sunday.

The Channel Nine personality was seen looking on lovingly at his soon-to-be spouse as she posed in a zebra print gown. 

Karl and Jasmine exchanged vows in a ‘commitment ceremony’ back in March, with their real wedding believed to be just around the corner. 

Meanwhile, the star shares three children with Cassandra – Jackson, 18, Ava, 12, and River, 11.
