Cat in WA with super long legs becomes internet sensation

An adorable cat with super long legs has become something of an internet sensation – with pins to rival Naomi Campbell.

After being listed for adoption on Facebook long-legged black and white cat Quenda has found herself liked by more than a thousand people.

The two-year-old cat with was taken in by Cat Haven Western Australia straight after she had finished weaning her last litter.

Quenda (pictured) was listed for adoption on Facebook with more than 1,000 responding

But the kitty’s eye-catching looks quickly earned her a list of suitors looking to adopt her.

Happily, Quenda found a happy home just three days after the shelter put out their appeal.

The Facebook post advertising the lanky cat said: ‘Hello, I’m Quenda =) I’m a teeny tiny little thing!

‘They it’s because I started having kittens when I was just a kitten myself! I’m 2 years old now.

‘I’ve only just weaned my last babies, and now I’m finally sterilised and ready to find a loving family =) I’m so sweet and friendly – I love pats and attention and I love to smooch you.

‘I must have had a family at some stage, but when I came into rescue with my kittens I had no collar with ID and no microchip, so they couldn’t call anyone to say we were ok!

‘But don’t worry, I’m sterilised and microchipped now. I’m even vaccinated, flea and worm treated too!

‘I feel spoilt, but they tell me that is just basic care and all responsible owners should do this. But anyway, what this means is now I’m ready to find a forever home! I can’t wait!

‘It’s been too long for me, and I am well overdue for a loving home where I can finally be spoilt and treated like a princess the way I deserve.

‘They say I’m such a beautiful girl I should find my new family really fast. I hope they’re right! Maybe my new family is you! I’m waiting for love at Pet Barn in Innaloo.’

Taking to social media, Quenda’s new owner Marissa Cummings promised to open an Instagram account for the ‘perfect model’ cat.

She wrote: ‘I got her! Instagram page is a must.’
