She’s always been known for her slim and flawless figure.
But even a stunner like Cate Blanchett had to put in some extra work at the gym when it came to getting in shape for her role in Marvel’s Thor: Ragnarok.
Speaking to Coveteur, the 48-year-old opened up about the ‘horrendous’ fitness regimen she was on with celebrity trainer Luke Zocchi.

‘It was hideous. It was horrendous,’ she revealed.
‘It was a hard-core cardio-and-weights circuit, but it only lasted 20 minutes because he had to fit it in between scenes.’
However, the beauty admitted that she’s slacked off on staying in shape since filming for the blockbuster wrapped.

‘I thought, “I really want to stick to this,” and of course as life tramples on, it’s been sporadic, but I really want to get back to that place,’ she sighed.
She added: ‘I’m like everybody—it’s so hard to start.
‘But once you start doing a little bit, like walking to work, it actually gives you more energy, so that’s what I want to change.’

Cate and co-star Chris Hemsworth recently posed for the cover of Australian Vogue together.
Speaking to the publication, Chris revealed he was incredibly nervous to meet and act alongside the two-time Oscar winner.
‘Especially the lead-up to meeting her, I was like: “Okay, this is Cate Blanchett”…My nerves were certainly more elevated than usual,’ he said.
