Catherine Zeta-Jones, 53, leads stars at red carpet premiere of Wednesday for Netflix

Catherine Zeta-Jones was all smiles while reuniting with the cast of her Addams Family prequel series Wednesday.

The 53-year-old actress portrays Morticia Addams in the series, a role originated by Carolyn Jones in the original Addams Family TV series and by Anjelica Huston in The Addams Family movies.

She was all smiles while posing with co-stars Gwendoline Christie, Jenna Ortega and Christina Ricci at the event, held at the Hollywood Legion Theater.

Zeta-Jones hit the red carpet in a stunning full-length white gown with a plunging neckline that fell to the floor.

She accessorized with large diamond studded earrings and an elaborate gold and diamond-encrusted ring. 

The actress’ footwear was obscured by her full-length pristine gown.

Wednesday follows the high school years of Wednesday Addams (Jenna Ortega) as a student at Nevermore Academy.

During her time at the school she, ‘attempts to master her emerging psychic ability, thwart a monstrous killing spree that has terrorized the local town, and solve the murder mystery that embroiled her parents 25 years ago – all while navigating her new and very tangled relationships at Nevermore.’

The show also stars Gwendoline Christie (Principal Larissa Weems), Luis Guzmán (Gomez Addams), Fred Armisen (Uncle Fester), Isaac Ordonez (Pugsley Addams), Iman Marson (Lucas Walker), Lucius Hoyos (Young Gomez) and Victor Teodor Dorobantu (Thing), along with Christina Ricci – who played Wednesday Addams in the 1990s movies – as Marilyn Thornhill.

The series was created by Alfred Gough & Miles Millar (Smallville), who executive produce with Tim Burton, who directs the pilot episode. 

The cast also includes Jamie McShane (Sheriff Galpin), Percy Hynes White (Xavier Thorpe), Hunter Doohan (Tyler Galpin), Emma Myers (Enid Sinclair), Joy Sunday (Bianca Barclay), Naomi J Ogawa (Yoko Tanaka), Moosa Mostafa (Eugene Ottinger), Georgie Farmer (Ajax Petropolus) and Riki Lindhome (Dr. Valerie Kinbott).

The eight-episode series will debut on Netflix starting November 23.
