She admitted years ago that she had fallen for fellow Hollywood actors John Travolta and Patrick Swayze in her youth.
And Kirstie Alley spoke about it again during a chat with her fellow housemates in the Celebrity Big Brother bedroom on Wednesday.
In a clip set to air on Thursday night’s instalment of the Channel 5 series, Sally Morgan is seen asking who Kirstie had dalliances with in the past – specifically wondering if she had an affair with anyone famous.
Long lost loves: Kirstie Alley revealed that she wanted to have an affair with Patrick Swayze and marry John Travolta when she was younger
Happy to tell all, Kirstie replies: ‘Not a consummated affair. But I did kiss two people. I would have loved to have an affair but we were both married.’
She revealed that the first of the two well-known names was the late Patrick Swayze, who died from pancreatic cancer in 2009.
The Veronica’s Closet star went on: ‘I loved him and wished we could have had an affair. But I am a strong believer in fidelity.
‘When you’re on the road doing a movie it’s easy to fall in love with your leading man. And we did North And South for a year. You’re around this person for a year. It’s hard!’

‘We fell in love’: Kirstie claimed John Travolta – pictured with wife Kelly Preston in 2007 – was the ‘love of her life’
She starred alongside the late Ghost star in American miniseries North And South. Kirstie was married to Parker Stevenson, her second husband, at the time. They wed in 1983 – a year before she worked with Patrick on the historical drama series together.
She remained married to Parker until 1997 after which they divorced. They shared custody of their two children, William True and Lillie Price, both adopted.
Meanwhile, at the time of his death, Patrick and wife Lisa had been married for 34 years.
Kirstie goes on in the clip to reveal the second actor she fell for: John Travolta.
‘He was potential marriage material. I almost ran off and married John. I did love him and still love him,’ she reflected. ‘And if I hadn’t been married I would have gone and married him. And I would have been in an airplane!’

Married: Kirstie claimed she fell in love with both men while married to now-ex-husband Parker Stevenson, seen here with her at the 1991 Oscars
Kirstie referred to the fact that the American Crime Story actor notoriously owns a private jet.
‘Let me tell you girls: it doesn’t seem important whether someone has a private jet. As you get older, you do not want to hang out in airports. This was a gross error.’
In 2012, Kirstie revealed she and Patrick had ‘intense attraction’ when they first met and that John was ‘the love of her life’.
On an instalment of Entertainment Tonight she said: ‘Both of us were married. We did not have an affair. But again, I think what I did was worse. Because I think when you fall in love with someone when you’re married you jeopardize your own marriage and their marriage. It’s doubly bad.’
Regrets? ‘When you’re on the road doing a movie it’s easy to fall in love with your leading man. And we did North And South for a year. You’re around this person for a year. It’s hard!’ Kirstie lamented
Kirstie went on to explain that although she’s friends with Patrick’s widow, who asked Alley to speak at her husband’s funeral, she is uncertain if Lisa is aware of their relationship.
In a shock interview on 20/20 with Barbara Walters a few days prior to this she revealed: ‘It took all the power I had not to run off with [John].’
The pair worked together on 1989’s Look Who’s Talking and went on to make two sequels: Look Who’s Talking Too and Look Who’s Talking Now!
Over the years, Kirstie and John have remained extremely close thanks in part to their mutual beliefs in Scientology.
Kirstie was married to first husband Bob Alley for seven years. They wed in 1970.
Tales of Tinseltown: CBB’s Kirstie regaled fellow housemates on Monday night’s show with tales of the A-list, recalling that she once partied with Prince Charles at Courtney Love’s house
Story time: ‘I’m friends with Courtney Love,’ Kirstie said. ‘And one time she asked me round to her house for snacks, and Prince Charles was there’
These aren’t the first yarns Kirstie has spun during her time in the CBB house, thus far. Last week she regaled fellow housemates Gabby Allen, Chloe Ayling and Hardeep Singh Kohli with tales of the A-list, recalling that she once partied with Prince Charles at Courtney Love’s house.
Kirstie told her enthralled co-stars: ‘Method actors can be brilliant, but they’re not brilliant to work with as humans. You’re lucky if you get someone who’s like a genius actor, and is someone like Tom Hanks.’
Hardeep asked: ‘De Niro’s not very nice is he?’
‘I’ve met De Niro many times, he’s really nice,’ Kirstie objected, going on to mention Al Pacino and Leonardo DiCaprio.
Friends in high places: Kirstie told of how she’s hung out with Leonardo DiCaprio
Enthralled: Kirstie told her co-stars ‘Method actors can be brilliant, but they’re not brilliant to work with as humans. You’re lucky if you get someone who’s like a genius actor, and is someone like Tom Hanks’
‘I like Pacino, he’s nice, I’ve met him just once. You know a lot of times you meet actors briefly and… [DiCaprio] was great, he was nice,’ she said. ‘I’m friends with Courtney Love, and one time we went for dinner and what’s his name, oh my god, Elton John was at dinner and there were only four of us.
‘And then another time she asked me round to her house for snacks, and Prince Charles was there!’
Celebrity Big Brother continues nightly at 9PM on Channel 5.
