CBB: Ryan Thomas breaks down in tears as he claims his ‘life is in tatters’ over ‘punch’ row

Ryan Thomas broke down in tears and claimed his ‘life is in tatters’ as he struggled to cope with the aftermath of allegedly punching Roxanne Pallett – who has now quit the show.

The 34-year-old soap star was seeking solace from his Celebrity Big Brother housemates in scenes shown on the live feed, aired after Ben Jardine’s eviction on Friday night.

Ryan was given a formal warning by Big Brother on Thursday’s episode of the show after he appeared to playfully punch Roxanne, yet she claimed it had left her in pain.

Speaking about how he is feeling in light of the row, Ryan admitted: ‘Really, really really bad. I just don’t get it. My life’s in tatters…’

Longing to be with his family and friends, he mused that they all have ‘got my back…’ adding: ‘I just want to see them all.’

Later on in the feed, Ryan screamed out: ‘F***ing get me out of here now!’

Quit: On Saturday morning, it was revealed that Roxanne had quit the show. A Celebrity Big Brother spokesperson said: ‘Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House’

He added: ‘I feel emotionally absolutely battered. It came from nowhere, absolutely nowhere.’

The star – who is dating Lucy Mecklenburgh – then vowed he will ‘try his best’ to patch things up with Roxanne despite their differing views on the incident.

Earlier in the show, Ryan apologised to Roxanne over their explosive ‘punch’ row as he insisted he was ‘showing my affection’ after ‘playfully’ punching the actress.

He said: ‘I honestly want you to know I was showing my affection. Maybe it came across the wrong way, I just want to apologise. I want to put it to bed. I don’t want it to affect other people in here.’

In agreement, Roxanne responded: ‘I don’t want this to be our ending.’

On Saturday morning, it was revealed that Roxanne had quit the show. A Celebrity Big Brother spokesperson said: ‘Roxanne has decided to leave the BB House. The remaining housemates have been informed.’

Roxanne had been accused of ‘setting back’ the work of domestic abuse charities after she accused a fellow contestant of punching her during a ‘play fight’.

She broke down in tears after labelling Ryan a ‘woman beater’ and called on producers of the Channel 5 show to kick out the fellow soap star.

Following the accusations, outraged viewers took to social media in defence of Ryan, tweeting broadcasting watchdog Ofcom with their complaints.

Many claimed Ryan was ‘obviously play fighting’ and ‘hardly touched her’ during the incident, which aired on last night’s episode.

An Ofcom spokesman told MailOnline it had received 11,215 complaints about last night’s show. She said: ‘We are assessing these complaints against our broadcasting rules, before deciding whether or not to investigate.’
