Celebrity Apprentice: Lord Alan Sugar enjoys a tennis session in Sydney

Lord Alan Sugar is known for his tough-talking antics in the boardroom on Celebrity Apprentice. 

But the 74-year-old proved he’s a man of many talents as he showcased his athletic prowess in Sydney on Saturday. 

The billionaire business magnate, who is in town to film the Australian version of the franchise, appeared focused as he raced back and forth on the court with a pal.

Alan proved he was happy to sweat it out during the friendly match, as he took a break from filming the show Down Under. 

The businessman turned TV star appeared to get competitive during the game, as he flew across the court to return the ball.

For the occasion, Alan opted to wear a a blue Nike sportswear top and sports shorts. He wore a blue cap backwards.

He finished the sporty look with a pair joggers, white socks and black trainers. 

Filming for the new season of Celebrity Apprentice is well and truly underway. 

This month, Jodi Gordon was seen looking stressed during one of the challenges, with photos proving the distress.

An insider told Daily Mail Australia the 36-year-old actress ‘burst into tears when she was singled out in front of Lord [Alan] Sugar for letting her team down’.

The source said the former Home and Away star ‘felt ganged up on’ and ‘thrown under the bus by her all-female team’. 

This came after Jodi was seen looking tense and emotional in conversation with Real Housewives of Melbourne star Gamble Breaux.

She looked very animated and used dramatic hand gestures as they spoke, and were likely discussing the events of that day’s challenge. 

It was also recently reported that some of the contestants this season aren’t too happy with the never-ending filming schedules.  

An insider revealed to Daily Mail Australia: ‘This years batch of celebs are said to be fed up with their non-stop shooting schedule.’

They explained that the stars were ‘promised four days a week’ which has now escalated to a six day week that is 14 hours long.    

The source also told Daily Mail Australia that an overnight camping challenge in the bush saw ‘tempers flare’ among contestants. 

The 2022 contestants include motivational speaker Turia Pitt, KIIS FM drive hosts Will McMahon and Woody Whitelaw, and Olympic gold medallist Bronte Campbell.
